Trying to hit a sheep,

मुश्किल में पड़ जाती हूँ,

जब खोजती हूँ शब्दों को

पिरोने के लिए माला में।

न कलम साथ देती है,

न‌ मौसम का मिजा़ज बनता है।

पर मैं भी तो कम नहीं,

हार नहीं मानती।

ज़ोर देती हूँ कलम पर,

पन्नों से माँगती हूँ साथ;

चलो मेरी सोच की राह पर,

थोड़ा करके मुझ पर भी विश्वास।
