Dwell in the silence of your heart O’ seeker,
For everything resides in harmony there.

Make way to the inside O’ explorer,
For your destination lies behind the closed doors of your thoughts.

Duty (Poem: My tribute to martyrs of India)

Dear Readers,

I am a writer and my work remains incomplete if I do not pay respects to the martyrs of my country through my writing.

We Indians are in grief because our soldiers were killed by a coward terrorist’s suicide bombing in Pulwama (Jammu and Kashmir, India) on February 14, 2019 ; but nonetheless we are proud of these brave hearts, our brothers who had chosen service above self.

We are living a safe life because of our soldiers, our policeman and all those who are in such services.

Please read my poem and spare a moment to pray for their departed souls and their families, their children who will now never be able to see their soldier family members in a physical form.

Died in the line of your duty,

You reached heaven

What did you leave behind?

Lessons.

Lessons for others to followโ€”

That service above all

Nation above family,

Family above self.

A soul’s sole purpose,

Attaining divinity.

Your choice,

To be a soldier:

The most selfless serviceโ€”

Path to divinity,

Path to heaven.

You, a divine soulโ€”

Be born to me, as my child,

In your next birth;

For I desire privilege.

Privilege, you knowโ€”

To be a mother

Of the one

Who believes in service.

A Universe Within Me

๐Ÿ”†๐Ÿ”†๐Ÿ”†๐Ÿ”†๐Ÿ”†๐Ÿ”†๐Ÿ”†๐Ÿ”†

I am drunk

In thoughts

Of the big world

That is within me!

Not world

It’s a universe

Of which

I thought

I was just a speck

But oh!

It’s real.

It’s fantastic

But not a fantasy

It is huge

It is pure

Free of negatives

Yet charged

With energy

Generating life

Bombarding emotions?

The huge universe

Within me

A university

Of profound knowledge

Yet unexplored

Yet unexplained

Within me

How deep do I dig?

There’s one more me!

There, ecstatic

Calm, carefree

Vibrating

With high energy

Lit up like Sun

Because there is

A universe within me.

My Learning Endeavours

๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’

My learning endeavours

Taking me to mysterious places

Clearing paths, making lanes

Guiding me at all my steps

Enlightening me with knowledge

Connecting dots, developing networks

Introducing me to my own dreams

As if I had forgotten them due to a disbelief

Bringing me into the light

Of my own consciousness

Digging deep into the core

That everyone calls a subconscious

My learning endeavours

Bringing me sweet surprises

Turning the wheel of fortune

Making me dance to mesmerising tunes

Two Qualities

๐ŸŽ†๐ŸŽ†๐ŸŽ†๐ŸŽ†๐ŸŽ†๐ŸŽ†๐ŸŽ†๐ŸŽ†

You have to work upon only two qualities

to improve them within yourself,

one is perception and the other is intelligence.

I Am Moving Ahead

โ†—๏ธโ†—๏ธโ†—๏ธโ†—๏ธโ†—๏ธโ†—๏ธโ†—๏ธโ†—๏ธ

Igniting desires,

Burning the boats;

Ready to charge,

And cutting the craps.

I am moving ahead,

I am moving ahead:

Flowing like water;

My past is dead.

Creating dreams;

Living them every day.

Happy in the present;

Bringing in future trends.

I am moving ahead,

I am moving ahead.

Vibrating with positivity,

With ‘beliefโ€™ in head.

Yes, I Believe

๐ŸŽ†๐ŸŽ†๐ŸŽ†๐ŸŽ†๐ŸŽ†๐ŸŽ†๐ŸŽ†๐ŸŽ†

Yes, I believe

I believe in the magic of the natureโ€”

That brings light after darkness.

I believe in the lullaby of a motherโ€”

That makes a baby experience sweet dreams.

I believe in the skill of two handsโ€”

That mould clay into a lively sculpture.

I believe in the energy of waterโ€”

That gives birth to Life.

I believe in the dreams of a failing humanโ€”

Who learns one thousand lessons and tries again.

I believe in the creation of thoughtsโ€”

That change destiny overnight.
