The Rap Song

🎵🎶 ▶️ 🎤

19-Dec-2019

The best birthday gift that I received in few years happened in 2019, just 15 days back.

It was from my next door neighbour whose wife’s birthday also falls on the same day.
Whenever I upload the podcast of my poetry rendition, I share it with them too. The couple listens to all that I share, and appreciate it… always!

They appreciate me so much sometimes that I feel like I must practice more to improve my talent. They respect my family equally. Both are beauty professionals and beautiful are their hearts indeed♥️♥️
So, the man, my respected neighbour appears with a Dairy Milk Silk and wishes me mentioning his wife’s birthday as well.

How he came to know about it was through my brother who happened to visit his shop 2 days before the birthday. My brother returned and told me that the lady, my neighbour, also has the same birth date (not the year!!!). I thought I should remember it because often we celebrate several festivals together.

On the date, I went to a temple nearby to thank God for all the experiences I am having currently and also for the good life I have. While returning, I visited the lady at her parlour and we exchanged wishes.
So, the man who was at home that day came with a Dairy Milk Silk and during some uplifting conversations requested me to listen to something he had composed for me. I said, “Please go ahead.” He played a Rap song he had recorded, with music, with my name in it.

As it ended, my family started clapping and were overwhelmed with gratitude. We praised his talent and encouraged him to chase his unfulfilled dream of making a career in acting. He blessed me with all the words he could utter. Since he loves music, I requested him to listen to the first Rap song (motivational one) I had composed. I rendered the Rap as best I could!!! (I am not skilled at it all.😛) And my home was filled with claps as soon as I ended.

Then our conversations went on from music, entertainment to the year in astrology.
I had not expected the day to pass so wonderfully that day. I also received messages from those who I had not seen for really long.
Somebody created a Rap song for me, one of the best birthday gifts in the form I most like! It just made my day, rather the whole year.

I desire, gradually, my renditions are liked near and far and become a source of motivation and entertainment for others!💐

Schooling Babies (Fun Metaphor)

👩‍💻

My contents are my babies. I create each one with my will and love. I love and nurture each of them.

Many of my babies are in their growth and development stage. Some have become toddlers too. They have learnt to crawl and communicate freely.

I will always call them babies. I love them unconditionally. I don’t judge them. I will take good care of them till I am on this planet. I am schooling my babies…and in turn they are schooling me.

A mother becomes a mother only when the babies school her or him. Motherhood is not gender specific. It is an attitude. It is a skill, feeling and an art.

When my babies reach college, I will direct them for the better choices they will have to make. By the time, my body is ready to leave this planet, my babies would have grown up enough to stay alive on their own. They will live forever.

Chant Silence

Sitting silent is one experience I have every day. This silence means complete silence. My eyes are open, heart pumping and mind not uttering a word.

If there is someone to accompany you, how would it be?

Two people who love and care for each other, sitting a little apart, eyes open, heart pumping, not looking at each other, enjoying a soothing view and minds…not uttering a word. This is a poet’s experience, a writer’s mind speaking out loud.

It had been going on on my mind for really long and I thought it would be best to put it in the form of a poetry.

Here goes my poem…

That’s ‘Triumph’ (with verse)

That’s Triumph
That’s victory
That’s how we hesitate before beginning
That’s how we celebrate and feel after winning
Doubt is all in the mind but you need to keep going
Persistence and determination is what you need to be ever flowing

Mother

The ‘Marvel’ of a mother is that despite all the work load, she delivers all her projects on time. She seldom takes a leave. On the productivity scale she is always ’12/10′. She rarely expects an increment but motivates each and everyone in the family team to give their best.
It is impossible to become exactly like my mother boss but I am under her training all the time.
Grateful

Feel it, Write it

Dear co-bloggers,

This work of mine that I am sharing below is an inspirational essay for those who hesitate to write. There are people who love to read but avoid writing. There are people who are not sure how to begin. This platform of WordPress is wonderful because of people like you who are involved in reading and writing. It is a platform for me to share what I want to and freely. Still I am sharing this work here because I wanted to.

🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺

If you can feel it you can write it. Write what you are feeling right then.

Noone will judge your feelings at the time you are feeling something. That is the right time to put your feelings into words. When you write don’t get connected to anyone else but only yourself. Shut your eyes for a moment, check what is going on inside you. While you would be busy checking yourself, you would definitely be imagining something…there…catch it…catch it and “Abra-ka-dabra”, change it into words.

So the path you take is:

Feeling

⬇️

Connecting to self

⬇️

Visualising

⬇️

Writing

And you are done!

Language? Grammar? Punctuation?

Just don’t worry about all these things. You will gain confidence and knowledge about all of it gradually. Come on! Your English language teacher won’t be marking your diary/notebook/doc. Write in the language you speak at your home, with your family. You never know when your work will inspire others!

If you hesitate to share your writ with anyone, don’t do it. A good way would be to compile everything that you have written. Revisit your work to see if you can make some changes in it. If you don’t want to change it or modify your content, it is absolutely fine. It is your work, you own it!

Try adding images to your writing. Free images are available on various websites, use them.

Share your work only when you want to!

There is one tip I would like to add before ending my writing. Read. R E A D.

Read as much as you can, as long as you can. Read to just read. Read to write…to write better. Words will naturally chase you during the process of reading. Books will inspire you to write. You know, “Books are our best friends.” Enjoy the friendship with paper, words, pen, pencil, or any digital writing material/app. Friendship is a feeling. When you feel it, you will write.

Pathways

✒️

My imagination works so wild sometimes that I want to do anything that is not possible within human capabilities.

I look for solutions. I am a solution-oriented person. That is the reason, my imagination works this way. It may sound weird, but I am cool with my ideas!

I have developed focus on improving myself as a human rather than anything else in the past year. I don’t know where my imagination will take me in future; the tangible role my thoughts are creating now are in alignment, my dreams are taking shape, I know, I just need to be patient and believe.

The Little Prince: Children’s story for adults

Sharing some heart-touching dialogues from the movie, The Little Prince (1974)

This conversation takes place between the little prince and the fox!

——-

The Little Prince: “I didn’t want to make you unhappy.

But you asked me to tame you.”

Fox: “I know.”

The Little Prince: “And I haven’t done much good. It’s all been a waste of time.”

Fox: “No. Because you wasted so much time on me, you made me feel very important.”

The Little Prince: “But now I feel sort of responsible for you.”

Fox: “I should have warned you that would happen.”

The Little Prince: “You always feel responsible for what you have tamed.”

—-++++++—-

The Little Prince tells the Fox how he was loved and taken care of by the 🌹 rose, his only companion on his planet.

“I listened to her, I talked to her and now I feel responsible for her. Because she tamed me”

The Fox shares a secret with the Little Prince—

“It’s only with the heart that one can see clearly. What’s essential is invisible to the eye.”
